We’re excited to share that coherence has joined the Roundtable Interactive Group (RIG), a newly formed group that brings together leading publishers, studios, and gaming technology developers, to help more studios bring great multiplayer games online.
The mission of coherence has always been to connect people through the power of play - that’s why we want to help developers make more multiplayer games. By joining RIG, coherence will work with other incredible teams that also share a ‘fans first’ philosophy.
Working together will let us all combine expertise and resources to help even more studios create great games, and connect more people. We’ll be working on lots of great games, from new and established IPs.
coherence (that’s us!): we provide a multiplayer toolkit and flexible game hosting that simplifies multiplayer development like never before - just about any generalist developer can use our tools. We also work closely with studios in co-development partnerships where we build their multiplayer for them.

RIG is backed by a leading, London-headquartered global investor, EMK Capital. RIG’s goal is to create a sustainable, supportive ecosystem where members can work together, share resources, and empower each other to make games that players will love.
Inspired by the knights of Arthurian legend and modern mythical equivalents such as the Avengers, we have created Roundtable Interactive Group as a gathering of professionals, both equals and individuals around the table - to support and grow together, with a common purpose. With the full support of our shareholders, our goal is to utilise our combined strengths, strategic direction and resources to create the best experiences for fans of all ages based on each brand’s unique industry positioning.

Joining Roundtable Interactive Group strengthens our ability to help studios build memorable multiplayer experiences. We stay locked on our mission and we do it alongside partners who challenge the status quo and share our obsession with pushing play and innovation forward.

Today, studios like Poncle (Vampire Survivors), Bossa Studios (Lost Skies, Surgeon Simulator, I Am Fish), and LEGO Games have used coherence to bring online multiplayer to life. This is proof of what’s possible when great ideas meet powerful technology, combined with great teams.
What does change is what we can do next: joining RIG gives us access to broader expertise, shared infrastructure, and the resources to move faster on our mission to make multiplayer development simpler, more scalable, and more fun.
For developers who are interested in knowing how this will affect their projects (spoiler: it won't) you can read our FAQ.
And, don't forget to try coherence, if you haven't already!
